I paint using different techniques, making paintings and portraits. I also do graphics, photography and installations.
I especially enjoy installations and assemblages, for me they are exhilarating and pleasureful experiences. It's amazing to be able create new dramaturgy by separating items and things from their previous realities and connections. In a sense the items seem to be waiting for a new context. I meet them everywhere I go, in the flea markets of Paris, or in the depths of a forest. Often a deposed mundane item, redundant for others, sparks a need in me to reinvent and continue the dialogue. |
